The Nga Hau e Wha Squash Tournament is currently the biggest squash tournament in New Zealand. Nga Hau e Wha is at the cutting edge of national Maori squash and has enjoyed its autonomy and identity in sport since 1981. Nga Hau e Wha is aware of the many concerns Maori players are confronted with at different representative levels and provides a Maori perspective which strengthens Maori players to not only remain in the sport of their choice but to feel confident that they can call upon WHANAU within Nga Hau e Wha networks.
Cementing WHANAUNGATANGA; which is very much part of our cultural makeup.
